I've been plagued by severe clinical depression, anxiety and bipolar disorders for 20 years. I've been prescribed several combinations of medications but have had very few periods of relief. I am taking this drug for the teratment of my high blood perssure. It is a good drg but it causes me gastric pains and it is reducing my libido.

More energy than when using Advair with less cramps. Not on long enough to compare weight gain which was evident with Advair. Am considering other options due to mood swings and severe headaches (last half a day) from this drug. Lungs feel great, but other side effects seem to make this a poor choice.

Today my doctor told me to stop the Lipitor because my liver is "not happy". Since being on the drug, I have experienced lower cholesterol. BUT I have also had irregular heartbeat, weight gain especially abdominal, blood in my urine that the urologist can find no reason for, swollen hands and fingers, feet feel sore and hot but look normal, rashes on my arms, weakness in knees, and pain in my right side. the first time i tried it, it was FANTASTIC - but my blood pressure shot up and i was taken off - i got my blood pressure down. about a year later, i was so lethargic from Paxil, I promised to watch my blood pressure if i could take Effexor again, but it didn't feel as FANTASTIC - it was just OK.
