This medication does not make me feel as drowsy as the other variaitons of Benadryl that I've taken in the past. However, it does not seem to be as efficacious or as fast-acting as Benadryl in relieving my hay fever symptoms.

I have been taking advair since I moved back to Texas in 2001. My asthma was out of control for years but has been under control virtually the entire time I have been on advair. I haven't ever asked to change drugs becasue I've never needed to.

I did feel better in the beginning. There is a noticeable energy lift and feeling of well being. But unfortunatly there is also intense emotions and difficulty breathing, expecially in bed. I don't like the feeling of slight suffocation. It causes me anxiety. For that reason I am seeing my doctor and electing to take the shot instead. One month after quitting smoking I suffered a fairly severe asthma attack and 3 episodes of migraine aura around 11 am daily (always had allergic rhinitis ,classic migraine which for the past 20 years or so no longer includes headache, just aura, and various food additive allergies), followed by a mild stroke causing temporary paresis of right leg from knee to foot. i have had alot of muscle tension since starting it and very tired constantly yawning and i have a headache every day all day. mood is more calm but can get very irritated of stupid things. working on controlling that! not sure if i like it giving in time to get into my system to see if i really like it.
