I wish there was an alternative to this medication that worked as well. The yeast infections are unbearable, and the interaction with birth control (making it uneffective) is annoying.

Previous to Prozac I had taken Effexor XR for about 6 years for anxiety. I was switched from Effexor XR to Prozac because of the headaches I got while taking Effexor, but I've still noticed the headaches with Prozac, and I've had so much more anxiety. I'm starting the transition to Cymbalta tomorrow, wish me luck!

With Bactrim (generic) I get immediate relief from my chronic prostatitis symptoms. However, during my last two bouts with this condition, I have also had my high blood pressure drop into the normal range. The first time, the drop was extreme so that I discontinued the high blood pressure medication for about 3 months before it returned. I have suffered from migraine's and daily headaches for the last 30 years and am currently seeing a specialist who has come to the end of their recommendations.
