Hi. I read your review of Opana. You were on 60mg of oxycontin, and changed to 5mg of Opana, then had sweating, loss of appetite, no engery, etc. This is NOT because the opana is problematic. It is because your dr. put you on WAY too low of a dose of opana (oxymorphone). Opana is 5 to 7 times stronger than oxycontin mg per mg. That means he should have put you on at least 10mg of opana. When I forget to take it on time, I get little "electric" shocks, I used to get them when I was starting on the medication as well. I don't really feel like it's doing much for me (if anything at all), I have it paired up with mianserin hydrochloride (20 - 30+ mg / day in the evenings depending on how tired I am - how much rest I've been skipping on previous days) which seems great. Shortly after starting a short course of this medication I starting having irregular (skipped) heartbeats upon light exertion. It took me two weeks to put two and two together and I have now stopped the medication. I have had irregular heartbeats in the past but they had not bothered me for several years. Also, I have experienced difficulty sleeping including trouble getting to sleep and/or mid night wakefulness. Recently I have experienced diarrhea. This drug does not seem to be worth us... I haven't started Valdoxan, yet. I read your comments and I'm really concerned about the back aches. I suffer from back aches (more like AGONY) without any help form meds. My back aches are psychosomatic, no pain killer helps. I'm going to try this. I've been on just about every antidepressant on the market, except for a couple. Only the first one worked and only for 7 years.
