This is a horrible drug that caused all kinds of side effects and made me miserable for the last 2 years. Started taking it due to gastritis from NSAIDS. Tried Pepcid first but got acid breakthrough after 1 month. Tried 10 mg capsules of Omeprazole, but they had a nasty aftertaste. Bumped up to 20 mg, then 40 mg. Constant bloating and abdominal pains. I am possibly taking agomelatine. I have been on a study for about a month now (there is 1/4 chance I am receiving a placebo.) It might not be related at all but since I am taking this medication, I often wake up in the morning and my penis hurt. As if the blood pressure was too high. Not too sure what to do. It usually dont last more than an hour and I never have this problem during the day, its always early morning and it actually wakes me up because it is so painful.

Started taking Aleve for arthritis inflammation and after initial dosage of 3-4 tablets a day, now take one per day. On those days of extra work, outside in yard for instance, I take another in late afternoon or early evening for pain relief.
