I have had Graves disease for twomyears now. The first approach was a gradully reducing dose of carbimazole, from 40mg down to 5mg. This took approximately a year. I tolerated the carbimazle well, though can relate the commentsvre metallic taste in the mouth and and upset tummy at dose change time. This lasted approximately three days until my body adjusted. When I had appendicitis, I was prescribed Extra strength tylenol for pain which gave me rapid pain relief which is what I really needed. However, it did make me very sleepy.

I have used Aloe Vera for different skin rashes and for the occasional sun burn and it has always pulled through. I have not seen any side effects, but I've often had to supplement my use of Aloe Vera with other prescribed medications.
