I switched to Vivelle Dot after being on Premarin for 18 years. I am disappointed that my side effects of weight gain and breast tenderness are bad enough to make me want to stop using it. I feel it is safer than Premarin but I cannot live with the side effects.

I have been using Gymnema as part of a herbal tablet (along with chromium, B12, Glucomannan, etc) for a few months and took it twice per day. It gave me better numbers but not as good as I would like, and some consistency in my readings. Recently I changed to a capsule - hard as heck to swallow - that is a higher dosage. I would talk to your doctor about Lexapro. I tried cymbalta for a few months and had really bad side effects. I did gain a few pounds but it wasnt very noticeable. The main problem I had was that it made me very lethargic and I could barely function on a day to day basis. I am taking Lexapro now and I love it. I have had no side effects whatsoever and if anything it has curbed my appetite.

I had a stomach virus and kept vomiting and once I got on this medication it helped relieve my nausea and vomiting, no side effects or anything bad from this medication.
