This medication was prescribed to help with my fibromyalgia. Taking this medication has slowly deteriorated my quality of life. It no longer helped with the pain so I discussed it with my physician and it was decided that I could come off this meedication. The "withdrawal" is the most difficult thing I have ever been through. Weird episodes where I feel furious for no reason...just descends on me like a migraine. My fatigue is better, maybe? At first, Provigil made a big difference, quickly wore down, and the switch to Nuvigil gave me a bit more energy again. It is doing something stimulating, since I've got much more anxiety and those rage attacks, but I don't know if it's really improving my quality of life or ability to function.
