Once I started on the Lexapro my suicidal thoughts and feelings of hopelessness were no longer an issue. I loved being able to sleep at nights again. I have had great results with hardly any side effects. The cost is very expensive so I tried other meds hoping to get the same results but other meds were not as successful; prozac did nothing for me...still weepy and depressed. Did control blood pressure--it was a sort of last resort effort from the doctor after more than a decade of blood pressure refusing to be under control with multiple, simultaneious drugs. But I had an utterly inappropriate manic ideation. I know it's supposed to remove epinephrine from the system; maybe I had a co-cortisol cascade. The ketozole tablets did not help my fungal infection. I also use the ketozole gel in the shower, to shampoo my skin with and I must say that the ketozole is said to be stronger however works the same pace as Selsum blue (both showing no results)
