I've taken Solodyn for approx. 45 days. I now have permanent blue/gray tooth discoloration that I am incredibly upset about. My teeth used to be beautiful and now they look like the color of a fish. It was pretty subtle so I didn't notice it right away and when I did I thought maybe it was staining from red wine. Actually I did not notice any particular change in my prostate condition. But I remember that since I started with Cyproterone, edema started developing, on my feet especially. But since the cancer didn't get worse, I assume the medication worked effectively.

I was given oxybuprocaine to numb my eyes at an opthamology eye exam, after receiving the drops I started to have convulsions. My head was completely bent back, my eyes were rolling in the back of my head and I was grinding my teeth. The convulsions lasted for hours on the day of the eye exam and returned sporadically the next day. Withdrawal systems are severe and therefore I continue to take 8 tablets a day every day, even when I don't need them. I find if I go out for the day and I forget to take Solpodol with me, I am in a panic and usually have to get home! The Doctor has never questioned the amount I get each month.
