I am 36 year old female and was diagnosed hyperthyroidism 10 months after having a baby. I was prescribed 30 mg carbimazole a day and after 3 weeks of taking it I came out in rash and hives all over my torso, neck, legs and it got even on my face. My nose began to hurt he second day and on the third day I had to stop taking Zicam nasal spray. I admit I used the spray more frequently than was recommended on the instruction sheet. And it was really amazing at ending my cold symptoms. After that (6 months ago), I got sick again, and this time used the tablets. They worked welll too.

I have severe fatigue at times, but I don't know if that is caused by the Entocort. Probably the Crohn's is causing the fatigue. I -do- know Entocort really works well. I have tried decreasing or stopping several times over the last couple of years. Immediately I get softer/more stool that looks abnormal/mucus. Feel lousy, etc.

It improved my breathing with only using one puff per day and lasts over 24 hrs. I have had many side effects which I did not before attribute to it but now believe have only occured since taking it for almost a year. Doxycycline helped me visibly reduce my acne with very little to no side effects. It is just an antibiotic, not an acne treatment, so it works best supplemented with other treatments like benzamycin and retin-a micro. Taking doxycycline did not cause much, if any, discomfort.
