I was on so many medications, it is difficult to differentiate which medication was causing what side effect. The psychiatrist at the residential treatment center put me on the benadryl because I was unable to sleep more than 2 hours per night. The trazadone was not helping me sleep either. This pill is absolutely horrible. Everything that could possibly go wrong with side effects went wrong plus 500. I had severe depressive episodes and emotional meltdowns. I gained 15 pounds. Since I've been off of it I am back to myself again.

I am very happy with Lamictal as I have been able to come off of another mood stabiliser (which was causing unwanted side effects) .. it is much more effective for my condition ( Bi polar disorder) .. this medication does not affect my libido like other medication either... the only problem is that it is not a government subsidized medication as it is not recognised as a medication needed for bi polar disorder and so is very expensive... I was on the NuvaRing for 4 years and I loved it. Little to no cramps, 2-3 day light periods. Everything was great. Suddenly I started getting yeast infections. The first one was the last week before my period. It went away when I had my period, but came back three days after I put in a new ring. And lasted for 2 weeks.
