As a physician, I've fielded numerous complaints from my patients indicating Proair was not an effective rescue inhaler. AS a result, I no longer prescribe it. Suffering from reactive airway disease (RADs) myself, I need to use an inhaler on occassion, and was given Proair recently. It just doesn't work. Period. My concern is this - how many lives have been put in jeopardy by patients desparate for relief of acute symptoms, and finding no reiief w/ the use of Proari in an emergent setting?

I have been having a difficult 2 months of seasonal allergy problems that has left me with a nasty & wicked cough from irritated bronchial tubes. This was the first time I tried Mucinex DM and I have had only 1 pill since starting it last night. First of all I slept through last night without waking up once, and today my cough has been reduced by at least 90%. Now that is a great product!

My original dose of 150 mg 2 times a day was too strong. Drowziness followed into the mid-day making my morning dose absolete. It did help my pain but prevented normal routines. I had to ease into and work up to the original dosage by starting with 50 mg 2 times a day. It is a better overall balance for me.

I had a bad experience with Nuva-Ring. I had originally been on the Depo-Provera shot for about 4 years before I decided to try something else. I researched and talked to my doctor, and decided to try Nuva-Ring. I was on 125 mg and reduced down to 100 mg over about 4 weeks (yes very slowly) and my jerky limbs side effects have gotten worse. I also find my sleeping patterns are all over the place. But I feel so much better than before that I don't want to stop taking them.
