I used this drug in my insulin pump. I have to take a bolus and a recommended amount prescribed by my doctor according to my A1C. In my opinion it is not much different from the insulin I take now. The only reason I changed insulin is because my new insulin was more readily available to my endocrinologist.

I experienced a allergic reaction after 40 minuets of taking my first dose. A itchy rash on my hands and lower arm. The reaction excelled to severe abdominal cramping and bloating. Took an allergy pill to control reaction. I am now back on progesterone suppositories.

I take two Advil PM and then the heartburn starts like it is stuck in my throat. I get restless and the pain does not go away. I toss and turn until I am so tired that I finally go to sleep.

This drug makes me sleepy, drowsy and tired, right after I take it. And I usually take it after breakfast. I was taking one tablet before, and I went to the doctor to told him about the side effects of the drug. He advised me to rest for about 10-15 minutes after breakfast. I tried it, and I felt better somehow. He also reduced the posology to 1/2 tablet, and he told me to go and look online for more information about the drug . Its really good. It helps me relax and I have less pain. I didn't know it was used for anxiety until recently, and now I understand how it works with my muscle spasms. I would reccommend it to others that are having muscle pains. It helps me sleep and makes me feel much better.
