I've been taking this medication for almost 2 years now. It is absolutely great in controlling my acne and I haven't seen improvements like this with anything else. It is extremely effective and works almost immediately. I wouldn't know what to do without it. Apart from the dry lips and skin, and frequent thirst, the medicine does induce depression in me, to the extent of people asking if something is wrong. It's strange in how it alters your mood at times and I see a distinct difference when... View full comment

Three weeks ago I took 500mg per day of Levaquin for five days to treat a sinus condition. I have extreme fatique, shoulder, knee, finger, foot pain, and aches in my back and legs. I did not have this previous to taking this medication. Now, I want to know, how long will this go on. I hope it is not a permanent condition. It is difficult to contnue my normal activities.

It started with puffy feet and then swollen legs and then feeling bloated in my stomach. I was becoming alarmed but when I started having trouble breathing as my lungs were being constricted, I went to the hospital where they did several tests and determined that I was having a reaction to Advil. It took approximately a week for me to return to n... View full comment

Benzamycin was great in fighting my acne and clearing up my complexion. However, after a couple of weeks my skin began to get very dry and irritated in certain areas. I even use a moisturizer but the chemicals are too hard on my skin. I may just have sensitive skin. Regardless, it is a good medication for chronic acne.
