Did you see a doc about the hair loss? When I asked my GYN about it, she said it wasn't related to the Lybrel because my hormones were "the most stable they've ever been". But now I'm seeing on line that other people have experienced this - I've lost a substantial part of my eyebrows and my scalp hair is thinning. I'm beginning to think I'd rather have periods!

Mucinex works really well when you drink enough water. When you don't hydrate enough, it doesn't work at all, and it makes you very dehydrated. This causes dizziness, dryness, and headache.

This drug also works as an 'antispasmodic' (slows digestion) making it a godsend for those of us who have had Ulcerative Colitis, Chrones Disease, IBS, Colon Cancer, etc. -related surgeries. After having my large intestine/colon removed, this drug has given me the opportunity to enjoy life and not always be looking for the restroom...let alone go camping, etc. Also 'quiets' the gurgling noises. I was prescribed Lupron to stop my periods, which were always painful with heavy bleeding. Since I was in treatment for early stage breast cancer, it was also recommended to control the estrogen, which helped to produce my tumour. I had had two 1-month shots and I am never taking this drug again. I can stand the hot flashes, the exessiuve sleepiness in my case and the feeling of weakness in the muscles.
