I was diagnosed with IBS many years ago and which has been severe. I was prescribed with Solpodol approx three years ago and intially found these helped enormously. Unfortunately, I am now 'hooked' on Solpodol taking 8 tablets a day, every day and the IBS has come back with avengance. I have also contacted a severe and nasty rash in the vulva area about a year ago and have had to have a biopsy which I am waiting the result - wonder if this a direct cause of the tablets?

So far, it seems to have helped lower my choesterol, and I haven't noticed any side effects. I was taking 10mg daily, but I was concerned about possible liver damage and requested my doctor lower the prescription to 5mg.

When I first started Effexor (at 37.5mg), it was like a Godsend. I felt immediately like things were going to change with my life. I started to lose some of the weight I'd put on because of the depression, and my counselor and I started talking about transitioning so I wouldn't have to come in every week. I used to take claritin for allergies but once zyrtec was placed over the counter I started using it. I have allergies to animals, pollen, and other outdoor things and Zyrtec works for all of them. It also works much quicker than claritin so I can take it on an as needed basis- although during the spring and fall I normal have to take it every day. I relieves itchy water eyes, sneezing, itchy nose and throat, and prevents congestion. Its worked great and I would recommend it for allergies!
