I have been on Synthroid for over five years. For the last five years the dosage has varied very little mainly staying at 75 MCG’s. For the last five years the drug did its job. Used for pain relief - Atypical facial pain - Having tried Amitripyline and Carbamozole without sucess (limited pain relief and too many side effects) I find I tolerate Dosulepin well and have acheived about 80% relief at a dose of 75mg per day.
