I like the fact that you only have a period every 3 months & i have not had any irregular bleeding, although i have severe headaches, my appetite is worse ( im never hungry ), and i have severe pains around my ovaries. Sex drive has increased but my mood swings kinda ruin that one. Im not very satisfied with this product and im highly considering switching to something else.

The constipation and change of appetite was un tolerable. I was taking pain killers for another problem and had to then sit really in pain due to extreme constipation, belly, abdomen, anus pain. I have had a rough year, worsened by this. With this side effect, your digestive system is changed drastically and I can no longer eat what I want when I want as it can be too rich and cause dia or constipation, whereas before I had never had any problems. :( I now have a fat belly that I have never... I've noticed a lot of leg cramps, but I don't know if it's related. My sleep can be more erratic, but it never was perfect. My breathing is much better and being active is much easier. I was active before but it made me out of breath a lot. Overall it's a good thing but does seem to lower sex druve ime.

Aciphex owrked very well for the period of time I took the medication. It had no side effects and it helped significantly to lower the acd reflux I was feeling. I would recommend it as first line treatment.

When I first started Microgestin Fe I had irregular bleeding and started my period early and it lasted for almost 3 weeks. Then I went without having a period for about 10 months. While I didn't mind this it obviously wasn't good so I had to be put on medicine to restart my period and then switch birth controls

To everyone on NSAIDs...please be careful! My brother was prescribed naproxin (which is just prescription strength Aleve) for shoulder pain. The Dr kept refilling the prescription for 9 months which resulted in kidney damage. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil, Motrin, Aleve can be dangerous if taken improperly or long term. They aren't "safe" just because you can buy them without a prescription.
