I like that it works well to relieve constipation, although sometimes it causes intense stomach cramping

I too am hyperthyroid. I was prescribed carbimazole and had an allergic reaction with a skin rash which erupted within days. Later that year I requested to be taken off this drug. The dosage was adjusted accordingly. This I followed until I was no longer taking clonazepam. (6mths). But then began, what I was told, withdrawal symptoms that would last 6mths; there after until 2009, I would experience W/D symptons every month, 'like clockwork' for a period of 3-... My doctor is switching me to Luvox CR to see if it improves my difficulty with short term memory loss. I have also begun to have a terrible time waking up in the morning. In reading about Luvox it seems that it is effective without the memory loss associated with Cymbalta on occasion. As we lowered the dose from 90mg to 60mg there was not a really signifigant increase in short term memory so switching to Luvox CR is our next option. I have mild bipolar and am a recovering alcoholic (55 mon... View full comment
