I started this birth control mainly because I was moving in with my boyfriend. Since I have started it I have NO sex drive and I have gained 40 lbs since I've been on it. My prescription is over after this month and you can bet that I am changing birth control ASAP!!

I have taken this med for nearly 2 years now. It made me a little emotional (ok, crazy) the first month, and gave me cramps at first but after the first pack it all went away. I do occasionally get yeast infections but a couple of days taking probiotics will cure that. I recomend the probiotic Acidophilus, you can get it anywhere and it works great on yeast infections. It is a little expensive but its worth it to me to not have a period every month.

Toprol XL is the only medicine that worked so effectively for me. Not only it lowered my blood pressure, but it also normalized my heart rate, which used to be irregular before I started taking it (and, as a result, the palpitations are gone as well).

It works, but not great. I have to take twice the recommended dosage (which I probably shouldn't) just to get some effect. I do still take it most mornings, though, because I have year-round allergies and sinus problems and usually wake up with a lot of congestion. On the plus side, a couple of tablets in the morning will usually decongest me enough to get me through the day. It does occasionally make me thirsty and tired.

I have been on Synthroid for over five years. For the last five years the dosage has varied very little mainly staying at 75 MCG’s. For the last five years the drug did its job. Yesterday I left school with a really bad sore throat, later that night I started to get a stuffy nose. I took NyQuil then went to bed and woke up with a very stuffed nose, nauseous, and a horrible headache. I took DayQuil and my nose cleared up quickly and the headache was starting to go away. However, my face broke out in a rash that was not itchy or bumpy. It was only on my face too. I recommend DayQuil though because it did help me breathe better and made me feel much better.
