I felt like I had taken the wrong medicine. I got worse. for about 2 weeks and then for another3-4 weeks of and on I had attacks. the anxiety was the worst I ever had. I really thought I was going mad. Until I finally convinced myself and lots of theropy that it was working. I also have sharp zaps in the head still to this day. I,ve been on it for about 3 months. Whilst taking this drug has got my thyroid levels back to normal and has sorted out those problems, I am constantly batling cold/flu viruses that my GP and consultant do not take seriously. Thankfully new GP has ordered a batch of blood tests to check I'm not one of the unlucky ones who have their white cells wiped out! The only side effect that stands out (in a huge way) is how extremely tired I am all the time no matter how much I sleep. I am prescribed Aderrall 3 times a day and the CRAZY thing is, I am still exhausted and a major side effect of Adderrall is supposed to be trouble sleeping (it's used not only for ADD but narcolepsy as well)!! Been suffering from major depression, ptsd, dissociation and anxiety for many years. Have tried many A/Ds over the years and to my relief and amazement, pristiq 100mg has improved my mood and reduced my anxiety significantly.
