I've been on Dilantin for about 15 years now. I don't like the side effects at all, especially the memory problems, since they seem to get worse. Sometimes I forget a word in the middle of my sentence, I then getflustered and forget my entire thought. There are so many different kinds of medications out there. You aren't just going to immediately find the right one for you. It's all about trial and error. Trust me, it's an agrivating process and I've wanted to give up many times (I started trying different meds about 7 months ago) I have confedence that I will find one right for me. I am an Afican American women. Well over 300 pounds.the dr. always want to give me pain pills for my knee pain. In which nothing seems to work. i have tried glucosimine, but nothing, i still have pain. i went to the health food store and the cashier recommended zyflamend. he customers have told him after 2 weeks they feel better.It took me a little, but I am truly satisfied!!!!!

I have been in this treatment for the last five months. I am very satisfied as I have good and steady results and have not noticed any serious side effects. I feel safe and well treated. the dose I am taking has been steady for the last 4 months now. my platelet count varies from 50- 180.000. Thje only thing that wotties me is that the doctor cannot give me a plan as to how long I will be taking this medicine. I have not had a splenectomy.
