Did control blood pressure--it was a sort of last resort effort from the doctor after more than a decade of blood pressure refusing to be under control with multiple, simultaneious drugs. But I had an utterly inappropriate manic ideation. I know it's supposed to remove epinephrine from the system; maybe I had a co-cortisol cascade. Aviane has been very satisfactory as a form of birth control. It is relatively low-dosage, so I have experienced very little weight gain and mood swings. I once had unexplained spotting for almost a month, but it was just once over the 2+ years I have been taking it.

my pediatrician prescribes it to combat allergy symptoms and we have had no ear infections since taking it - we use it as needed when Allergy symptoms appear - since our son was an infant - and he just turned 5.

Have been on Carbimazole for just over six months.It was slowly reduced from 40mgs daily to 20mgs after two months. Then after five months found to be over medicated reduced to 10mgs. The symptoms i had whilst being over medicated were extreme exhaustion, dizziness and insomnia to mention a few.I also have severe hot flushes that come every two hour at night .
