Starting on day 1, had bad metallic taste in mouth, nausea, and chest discomfort-indigestion all day long. Started taking probiotic on day 3, also began taking pills with a half-glass of milk instead of water, and sipping on gingerale/ nibbling saltine crackers during the day - symptoms much milder now except the metallic taste is still strong. Am just finishing day 5.

Since being on Lantus, I've noticed an increase in arthritic pain and swelling of the knee joints. Some days it's difficult for me to walk I'm in so much pain. My finger joints are now inflammed and adding to the pain I'm already in. I've also gained weight and that angers me after I worked so hard to lose the weight. Although I had allergic reaction with each infusion, the side effects from the Taxol got better after 7-10 days. I didn't have nausea at all (actually had a very good appetite) except my stomach was queasy for about 7 days after 4th infusion. I had an odd taste in my mouth with excess saliva for a several days after infusions. Very tired but that too improves after 7-10 days.
