Since starting on this drug last year, my "attacks" have reduced tremendously and I'm able to work with confidence now. However, my biggest problem with Betahistine is that I have been experiencing severe muscle cramps recently which at times can be very painful. I have also lost some weight and I try to eat more to compensate! Is their any way one can ensure that he/she maintains her/his weight when on this drug? My sexual appetite has also gone down. Any comments?

i have been on ortho tri cyclen for about a year and a half now...i was put on it because of its low hormones. other pills were making me feel sick because of the amount of hormones in them. ever since ive been on ortho tri cyclen, i develop yeast infections every 2-3 months. i am in and out of the gynocologist atleast 5 times a year for yeast infections. they are also hard to treat...OTC creams and diflucan prescriptions wont fully clear them. ortho tri cyclen is also ruining my sex life! i... Without singulair the asmthma attacks are not as often and the ones that do come on could be a lot worse.
