I was prescribed Skelaxin after I was involved in a motor vehicle accident. It takes a good hour to 2 hours to really start working. I still felt some moderate back pain when taking the drug, but overall it helped me get around and do simple movements.

My doctor weened me off of it in late November, 2009. That lasted about 4 weeks. I was completely out of control with my anger. Anything & everything set me off. Didn't care who it was ; family , friends, co - workers, management personel , people I didn't even know. I would fight or argue with anyone at anytime over anything. Needless to say, after the 4 weeks, my doctor put me back on it. after about another 3 weeks, I was much better and back under control.

I have been tacking Simcor for almost 3 months. In the beginning I had flushing and itching that was severe enough to bother me at night. That side effect has almost gone by now. However, I use to have my resting pulse around 52-54 beats per minute, just recently I've noticed that my resting pulse was elevated to around 68 - 74 beats per minute. Ambien is great, it helps me sleep much better. The only thing that I dont like about it is that it makes me a little groggy in the morning and sometimes I get up in the middle of the night and eat.
