I have been taking Zoloft since August 2009. I was prescribed this medication after seeing a phychiarist due to anxiety. The anxiety was from an allergy medicine called Xyzal which was prescribed to my last April 2009. Well needless to say this allergy medication caused real bad hallucinations which caused me to go to the hospital. Off-label prescription for insomnia, co-administered with other serotonergics by an incompetent PA. Only took 7 half-doses, spaced over 2 weeks. Profound neurotoxic reaction included shock sensations, hallucinations of vibration, and eye-movement irregularities (seemingly permanent, as it has been over a year now). I believe I have recently acquired allergies, because I have been sneezing more than ever and getting teary eyes very often. After taking just one pill of Aller-Clear (loratadine), my symptoms went away within an hour and I was allergy-free the whole day. I love that I can take it in the morning and be carefree about allergies for the rest of the day. It works quick and is easy to take.

It worked well at first but I am having a rebound effect of heartburn now. I need to see thdoctor. I have read recently that keeping your stomach acid down can contribute to other bacteria building up in the stomach.
