Azelaic acid always wipes out my pimples but it does nothing for black heads. My doctor prescribed it a few years ago and I still use it as a spot treatment. However, I'd be more satisfied with a treatment that makes my acne disappear for good.

My doctor prescribed this medication to me when I was 16. My skin was at a point where it was starting to break out a little. When I started doxycycline, I would get extremely nauseated to the point where I would vomit. I then decided that instead of taking it in the mornings, it would be best to take it after my evening meal. It worked out great. I started taking Januvia a year ago because my blood sugar had began to go up while I was just taking Metformin and hadn't been doing anything different than usual. Since I started taking Januvia in addition to Metformin I have noticed that my blood sugar is much more stable.
