Since going on this pill, I developed SI Joint Dysfunction. I didn't think the pill had any affect on it, but I went off it for 3 months and had relief of my symptoms. Not complete recovery, but much better. Then I went back on TriCyclen and three days later the severe pain came back. I took the pill for another week without relief. Then, I decided to stop the pill and the pain subsided. I'm about to try the pill one more time for confirmation of the symptoms.

This is my second round of Isotretinoin. The first time the results lasted for about 3 1/2 years before I started having bouts of cystic acne again (definitely related to stress). The first time I was on it I had a lot of joint and muscle pain but I have not experienced that this time around. This time in addition to the normal dry skin, lips, and increased thirst, I have dry eyes and a dry nose that bleeds frequently if I do not use the nasal gel to moisten it. I was diagnosed with a stomach virus and was prescribed this by my doctor. So far, I have had no real complaints besides the slight dizziness and the pain in the stomach. It helped my nausea, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it really worked that well overall.
