Since being on Lantus, I've noticed an increase in arthritic pain and swelling of the knee joints. Some days it's difficult for me to walk I'm in so much pain. My finger joints are now inflammed and adding to the pain I'm already in. I've also gained weight and that angers me after I worked so hard to lose the weight. I've taken a number of anti-depressents and celexa has had the fewest side-effects and works very well. However, lately I have been having trouble with anxiety attacks. They are severe enough to wake me at night and to also keep me home while I am trying to work through them. This is a new experience only in the last year. I will be looking into it.
