I used Tolperisone as an alternative to Limptar in preventing leg muscle cramps. Tolperisone had the additional benefit of allowing me to do some creative re- search, realizing that both exercise and coffee would be necessary to keep my brain and body functioning for more than about 30 minutes. Was given this cortisone pack for a nerve complication after back surgery. It works, but hard on the stomach. You definitely have to eat something with each dose.

Trileptal

The first few days I took Trileptal I felt "drunk" but that vanished within the first week. Cognitive side effects such as severely not being able to remember words and short term memory loss were severe the first few months, but tapered off so that after the first 6 months I wasn't and am still not sure if it's the Trileptal or getting older (45) that's causing the now mild effects.

Lyrica is one of the sneakiest little devil there is. First you feel great, it really helped with the nerve pain through out my body, and it knocked me out at night. I definitely couldn't take this medication in the day time, and forget about driving that is a joke! You can barely see, and that is if you aren't already lost from confusion. I've taken other statin drugs for many years and slowly drifted into the severe side affects w/o knowing it. I lived through the side affects, thinking it was an age thing. The doctor never asked about some of the severe side affects so I didn't link them together until I read an article.
