I started out taking Lexapro but the dr. switched me to Celexa because my insurance covered it but didnt cover the lexapro. They told me that it was very similar to lexapro but it made me very sick when I took it and I had no problems with the lexapro. I had to go off of it after a week of taking it because I didnt have any energy to do anything and constantly felt sick. I went back on the lexapro and have been doing great since!

You need to report the muscle pain, you could get permanent muscle damage with cholesterol meds, I myself would not take it if you have muscle pain, this could indicate that it maybe is starting to damage your muscles and joints. I have tried five different statin drugs like baycol, zorcor and crestor....etc and they make me hurt all over, just got niaspan last night and didn't sleep and woke up lightheaded and had heart palpatations, probably won't take this either!!!! I had just started to try antidepressants. I was first described the generic brand of Wellbutrin XL by Tevic. I had less pain almost immediately after starting on the low dose. I had some strange "rush" like sensations. It was almost too much. Then some snapping at the bit about mid day. Within two weeks I was itching severely and could not stop. My doctor has had me try several different medicines for Bi-Polar disorder. We settled on Depakote because it seemed to do an adequate job with fewer side effects than the other medicines. It seems that since I have been taking it, I have started having more side effects. I have extreme hair loss (although it does grow back) and kidney pain. I have a constant fatigue. It has not made me feel better or "normal".
