I believe I have recently acquired allergies, because I have been sneezing more than ever and getting teary eyes very often. After taking just one pill of Aller-Clear (loratadine), my symptoms went away within an hour and I was allergy-free the whole day. Originally, my dosage was started at 50mg, then raised gradually to 150mg. I love effexor and what it did for me. I don't like having to deal with hives and looking like I've been mugged. My face swells and the hives make me scratch holes in my skin. I've missed work because of frequent hospital trips. I would take effexor again, but I would really rather do without that particular side effect.

I developed a skin rash that I went to my Dr about they did not think it was from the medication. It was round patches all over my chest and stomach and a couple around my eyes. Loestrin has no major side effects which is great. I enjoy taking birth control that does not throw me off or affect me. Birth control should only regulate my cycle and prevent pregnancy and Loestrin does just that.

It is really good if you suffer panic attacks or depression and insomnia but I have only been married for one year and my husband is ready to leave me as my labido is non existant and we used to be very energetic in that department so id say for me anyway this is the downside to taking it
