vI have been on Lyrica for Neuropathy for the past 5 and 1/2 years. It worked about 70-75% of the time for the first few years but now it works less than 40% of the time. My biggest problems with the Lyrica is the side effects-you name them I have them; weight gain (30-40 pounds), chills, night sweats, insomnia, depression, fatique, lack of motivation, memory loss, confusion, sleepiness, abdominal pain, GI bleeding, nose bleeds. I have suffered from migraine's and daily headaches for the last 30 years and am currently seeing a specialist who has come to the end of their recommendations. Last year I visited the US and whilst out witout my usual headache medication bought the Excedrin Extra Strength Express Gels. I was on orthrotricyclen lo for a year and i constantly got yeast infections. I went through many medications but it would only clear up for about a month. I went to my gyno and she perscribed me to femcon fe this is my second month on it and I have not had a yeast infection since. The only difference is that my periods are super light and only last for like two days which is odd for me. I was actually wanting to know if that was normal.

After trying several other medications, Amrix was the first to relieve the intense constant pain in my head. I was extremely tired the first couple of weeks after I started taking it. I was on synthroid from 2003 to 2006 and I still had fatigue, brain fog and was still cold all the time. I complained to my endocrinologist and since he declared my labs "perfect" he could do nothing for me, when I inquired about Armour, he said he would not prescribe it.
