I was prescribed this drug for Fibromyalgia pain. Yes, you feel less pain because you're High as a Kite! At first my husband thought it was funny that I spent my time giggling and walking into things. Obviously not good. This was on a very low dose of 50 mg / 2 x daily. I am very sensitive to this drug and it caused too many problems including memory, confusion, feeling dizzy and/or "high" plus my husband said there was a change in my personality - obviously not a good one.... I've been searching everywhere to see if anyone else has had the same violent physical reaction to Candex. I am happy I found this page with a couple of posters who have had identical side effects. A year ago, I was put on a regimen of vitamins, fish oil, probiotics, etc., and completely cleaned up my diet. It was recommended that I also introduce Candex, which I did. Anything to feel better! Did you see a doc about the hair loss? When I asked my GYN about it, she said it wasn't related to the Lybrel because my hormones were "the most stable they've ever been". But now I'm seeing on line that other people have experienced this - I've lost a substantial part of my eyebrows and my scalp hair is thinning. I'm beginning to think I'd rather have periods!

Since I started taking Yaz, I am more emotional and feel depressed. I use to be a very happy go lucky person...I dont even recognise myself anymore. My friends dont recognise me anymore. I am not going to take my tablet tomorrow as I think it is the Yaz causing it. I will schedule an appointment with the doctor as soon as I can. I cry for no apparent reason and feel angry about the silliest things.

I take Zyrtec daily for indoor and outdoor allergies and it relieves all of my symptoms. I started taking it when Clarinex stopped being covered by my insurance, although I do not think Zyrtec is quite as effective as Clarinex it is cheaper and it does not cause any negative side effects.
