My mother was prescribed Actonel by a visiting locum within 48 hours she experienced a tingling sensation all over her body, followed by horrific pain in all her joints which has continued for another 3 weeks and is ongoing. She is also experiencing night sweats, often having to change her pyjamas twice during the night. She is 72, has diabetes and hypertension. Taking too early in the morning means I'll have a dry mouth while trying to work/talk with people. Taking too late causes insomnia from the steriod. Occasionally causes a pretty significant headache. I'm only able to take it once/day in the middle of the day due to unplesant side effects. However my breathing has gotten much better
