this stuff is poison. i'm a 35-year-old who was perfectly healthy aside from smoking until chantix. now i feel like i'm 90 years old with one foot in my death bed. my skin doesn't even feel like my own skin and the fevers and rash just won't stop. sure, it will help you quit smoking, but it will ruin everything else in your life that means anything to you, most importantly your health (isn't that why you wanted to quit smoking to begin with?).

I have had pain in my muscles and joints as well as severe pain in my left arm/hand. My ability to do resistence (weight) training has been diminished. I can not lift as much weight and the weight I do lift, I cannot do as many reps. I get extremely dizzy if any exercise involves stooping or bending.

I haven't been taking Yaz for too long but it has so far been effective. The only side effect that I've experienced is a change in my sex drive but I guess that's inevitable. I am very satisfied with this medication.

I developed a skin rash that I went to my Dr about they did not think it was from the medication. It was round patches all over my chest and stomach and a couple around my eyes. That cleared up over time. Now my hair has been falling out for several months. I commonly have a "malting" time, so was not concerned at first, but it is rally noticeable now. I'd been on Zocor for about 2 months when the painful attacks in my arms started. I went through every test known to man, heart cath, MRI, MRA, EMG, endoscopy, various blood work. All came back negative and my pain was attributed to cervical spondylosis. I was given Neurontin, then Celebrex and Tramadol by my neurologist to deal with the pain.
