I have been off of this birth control for about 4 months. A couple of weeks ago I noticed my hair on the top/front of my head begin to thin. Recently it has become very thin. In certain lights you can clearly see my scalp. After reading quite a few articles on the internet I am starting to think my discontinuation of Ortho Tri Cyclen could be the reason. I have become extremely depressed over my thinning hair. I am afraid it will continue to get worse until I am entirely bald!

I was diagnosed with General Anxiety in 2003. I briefly went on Buspar and Effexor; Effexor practically put me in a fog, so I didn't end up taking it very long. In 2005 I took on employment at a call center and in 2006 began to have serious panic attacks. Needless to say, preparing to go to work each day only added to the anxiety I felt. I haven't been taking Yaz for too long but it has so far been effective. The only side effect that I've experienced is a change in my sex drive but I guess that's inevitable. I am very satisfied with this medication.

As a physician, I've fielded numerous complaints from my patients indicating Proair was not an effective rescue inhaler. AS a result, I no longer prescribe it. Suffering from reactive airway disease (RADs) myself, I need to use an inhaler on occassion, and was given Proair recently. It just doesn't work. Period. My concern is this - how many lives have been put in jeopardy by patients desparate for relief of acute symptoms, and finding no reiief w/ the use of Proari in an emergent setting?
