I take it for uti pain, but I have to weigh my options because I will have neaseau and severe stomach pain that fades to my lower back for about 5 minutes about 25 minutes after taking the medication. If my uti is causing extreme pain then i take it for relief but I suffer from these side effects shortly after. Be careful if you take Synthroid for Hypo-thyroid disease..... talk to your doctor before starting Claritin. My blood pressure went up all of the sudden after always being good.......when I stopped the Claritin it went back to normal. It scared me.

it makes me bruise and bleed very easily. i usually dont have a lot of problems with it. the only time i have a problem is when i cut myself while i work on the cars i fix. also if i bump into something even slightly a bruise starts forming easily.

This was first prescribed by a neurosurgeon to replace MS-Contin he said due to the insurance coverage not paying for the MS-Contin. But since changing specialists, I find it difficult to get any other physician willing to write a prescription. I have light headedness but it is improving. I have noticed a decrease in my hematocrit but do not know if it is caused by the diuretic effect. I have also noticed a slight weight increase.
