I use metofrmin in combination with glyburide, otherwise it won't work. Metformin for me cannot work alone. Right now, I can't take it because I don't have glyburide, so i use Diabenese instead.

I have occasional asthma (usually activity or allergy induced) and I used to use Albuterol before it was reformuated. The ProAir HFA is not as effective and does not come out of the dispenser very well. While it does help a bit with my asthma attacks the side effects are unpleasant and I avoid using the inhaler unless I completely have to. The side effects only last about 45 mins but they are still unpleasant.

I have been using Gymnema as part of a herbal tablet (along with chromium, B12, Glucomannan, etc) for a few months and took it twice per day. It gave me better numbers but not as good as I would like, and some consistency in my readings. Recently I changed to a capsule - hard as heck to swallow - that is a higher dosage. My aunt (in her late 50s) took Zyrtec for a short time 3 yrs ago. She said it worked well but she lost her sense of taste - nothing for 3 yrs. I guess there's no way to fix this - has anyone heard of a way to fix this?
