I had pneumonia in July and about a week after I got better from that, my legs began to ache and swell. They've hurt and stayed swollen all this time. I've been seeing 3 doctors and none have been able to tell me why. I have been taking syntroid for over 1 year to suppress remaining part of thyroid after surgery(pappillary carcinoma). I have: fever, fatigue, nervousiness, high temperature, high blood pressure, tremor, anxiety..... My endocrinologist ignores my symptoms saying that I have to stay on syntroid. Prior to taking Lunesta my sleep pattern was irregular and unhealthy. I'd sleep three hours and was tired constantly. I am a typically hyper person and so I always desperately wanted to sleep but often was unable to. Once I began Lunesta I couldn't believe how much better everything went. Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour.
