I am 43 and after 21 years without seeing a physician, my family convinced me to see a doctor after I started suffering from depression. After the exam and bloodwork, my bp was 130\70 and all blood levels were normal. My doctor prescribed Wellbutrin and scheduled a follow up visit in 3 weeks. I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. To ad few side effect to the list...21 Sept 2015 my left eyelid started to burn and hitch,a red patch. My right eyelid had little skin tag and blurry vision...very sleepy sometimes. We are still looking for a family doctor and these days it's pretty hard to find or get the help we need.The question...do I stay on the(5mg) medication or not and I am sure,I need a lower prescription than Cipralex ?
