I was on Prozac for over a year when I first started taking it. My mother says I seemed to have a better attitude and I was altogether getting better. Then, in December 2008, I abruptly stopped taking it. I had a host of withdrawal symptoms and worsening depression and thoughts. Cymbalta has done wonders for my fibromyalgia. Lyrica and Savella made me so sick I was throwing up! They did nothing for my pain either. Not Cymbalta, though. It has made me virtually pain free! It has also helped balance out my bipolar II symptoms; especially the depression. Another added benefit included fewer and much milder PMS symptoms. Cymbalta is definitely the drug of choice for me...and no side effects!

No negative effects at all, only good for treating acne rosecea. Had suffered fom this condition without knowing and seeking medical advice for two years with horrendous breakouts of spots,blisters and patches of inflamed skin. I was on the study that had Enbrel approved by the FDA. I received great care at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston, MA. I was willing to try anything to improve my desperate health situation. When I joined the study I was basically bedridden. The risk of side effects is well worth the relief from pain and the regained mobility. It worked wonders!!! My skin is completely clear, I constantly get compliments. All the side effects (dry, dry, dry, chapped lips, dry eyes, dry skin, sun sensitivity) will happen so stock up on carmex (lip moisturizer) and cetaphil lotion or which ever one works for you.
