Takes 2-4 days before noticing effects, not very effective. Produces slight side effect of minor skin rash and dry skin. Switched to more highly effective ointments. Seems have to apply more than prescribed per day (three times per day) in order to be more effective.

Last year while I had the H1N1 virus (didn't know it was the virus at the time, I had it prior to all the publicity) I was taking Zicam to relieve the sinus congestion that I had. I may have taken it a little longer than prescribed because what I had was not going away, nasty flu. Anyway I did get better but I have lost my sense of smell! It's been over a year now and it still has not come back.

I have pretty bad anxiety/OCD and Pristiq doesn't really help me with that. Maybe a little, but not much. I don't feel depressed taking it. Noticed my hair is falling out a little faster since I started taking Pristiq, but I'm a guy in his late 20's and it was already an issue, just not to the extent it is now. What was interesting about the drug was how dry it made my skin. My lips were so dry, chapped and red. They always peeled, and my skin seemed so much more dry. Accutane has cured any previous acne I had on my chest and back. From time to time I get a pimple or two, but this is recent. A year after accutane, I was still getting nasty breakouts.
