Tri-regol has been the only birth control that I've been taking that is basically "symptom-free". I did not gain weight, get a yeast infection, have a change in vision or get nauseous or tired, as I have experienced with other birth control pills. It gets a A++ in my book

I am in your age range and I just started taking it today. The doc started me on 30mg. what was your starting dose and having there been any changes in dosages? Also, have you experienced and lack of libido?

I would have thought 3 months is a long enough trial, I don't think therefore that this one is going to work for you... Have you tried anything else? If this is the next in a long list of "things to try" then can I suggest that you go back to your GP and ask for a dermatology referral. There is a drug called Roaccutane ( you may have heard of it) Yes, its strong and Yes, it does have side effects, but it is effective against acne when all else has failed. I liked to use the Zicam q-tips, but stopped when i heard they cause a loss of sense of smell. However, I still take the lozenges and think they work well, even if they don't taste very good.
