I am not a moody or depressed person, but since taking this specific birth control I have been having the worst mood swings ranging from being being easily irritated to sad/depressed for no known reason. I have only just realised how many problems, I had in the last 2 years, were side effects from taking Simvastatin. I may be one of a small minority but if your medical checkups are only once a year and you haven't been appraised of the potential side effects then you suffer unnecessarily. When the doctor who prescribes the drug for you is not astute, or enlightened, enough to pick up your problems as side effects then this just compounds the problems.

Sometimes my throat gets coated in mucus, but I feel that is a result of my cold and not the medication. I am really satisfied with Mucinex. It is the only thing that really takes care of my cough.
