Before taking zoloft, I had such a bad mental clarity, I kept forgetting words, I couldnt concentrate or focus and I felt as though my mind was always foggy. I had a very bad short term memory (which is very unlike me) and I would forget small things, and forget appointments, etc. It got to the point where I couldnt do my work. What I love about Zoloft is that it doesn't change my personalty. I take it for both depression and anxiety. It keeps me relaxed and has improved my sleep. Overall I feel very god emotionally.

M/W/A 57yrs 6'+ 235lbs, was put on Simcor Sept 2010, due for first CBC since medication started next week. My triglycerides were through the roof, 500+, LDL was only 179, but HDL was in the basement, so DR put me on 1000-20 Simcor. He warned me of the "flushing" as he put it, and wanted me to take it at bedtime to limit this side effect. Started 3 weeks ago. At first the side effects were hard to handle (hot /cold flashes, sweating, tiredness, cold hands). Now my body has adjusted to it and it has brought my blood pressure down and lessened my heart rate. It's important to wait it out 2 weeks because it took that long to start working. Taking 25 mg 2 x pd with hydrochlorithiazide. No other health issues!
