So far so good for about a month, & with no heart palpitations--but I am only taking one a day in the morning & with FOOD, such as cottage cheese. I feel a lot better because everything is not hurting all the time......its doing an amazing job & I have taken no "NSAID's" (Advil, Aleve, Naprosen, Ibuprophen, or Aspirin) or Tums, Mylanta, pepto bismol for over a month. At 67, I say, hurray!

I am currently expiriencing severe back problems and it's a dilemma. The M.D prescribed (Morphine Sulfate) which is used to treat agonizing pain. I was told to take it (bid), of course running the risk of possibly becoming addicted to the narcotic. I took it as prescribed by necessity and recommendation. I'm on my second pack of LoSeasonique and I've still been having a monthly period, except it's lighter but about two days longer. I'm almost finished with this pack and the bleeding is just now starting to show signs of stopping (it's much lighter and just spotting). I called my doctor and she's switching me to the regular Seasonique, but I'm only going to give it one pack and if things don't get better, I'm going to see about switching completely. I'm taking the highest dosage for the solus pen once a day and have not noticed any change in blood sugar. Had to get off metformin because of digestion problems which are somewhat better now, but still persistent at times. I'm going to see if doctor will change everything next office visit.

I've been taking Reclipsen for about 3 months now and it's been alright. Slight mood swings, little bit of nausea in the mornings, and some pretty gnarly headaches but thats it. No weight gain. No acne. No spotting. No cramping. I'm starting on the brand name version (Desogen) this month because planned parenthood didn't have any Reclipsen left, and I'm hoping that things will stay the same. I experienced moderate nausea the first week. That stopped, but I then developed severe, long lasting headaches. Pain relievers do not help. They just have to go away on their own.
