Weird episodes where I feel furious for no reason...just descends on me like a migraine. My fatigue is better, maybe? At first, Provigil made a big difference, quickly wore down, and the switch to Nuvigil gave me a bit more energy again. It is doing something stimulating, since I've got much more anxiety and those rage attacks, but I don't know if it's really improving my quality of life or ability to function. I started out with 4 tabs a day but that was way too much. Doctor's PA told me to take 2 a day which was an improvement but side effects, although lessened, continued. I experienced restlessness, tongue sucking, mouth pursing, jaw clenching, rash on face, throat tightness with muscle spasm. I learned that these side effects over time can be life long. I don't feel jittery or nervous, or have heart palpitations like I got when I tried Albuterol. I felt HORRIBLE when I tried albuterol. It was like I was having a panic attack, or had to much caffiene. Xopenex doesn't do that. Plus, I got up a couple nights and used my inhaler and felt fine. I did the same w/ Albuterol neb and couldn't go back to sleep.
